Time: 7:30 a. m.: Place--on the way to breakfast. I decided to go to a very expensive place to eat and I am glad I did. While I was sitting at a table waiting for a SSO breakfast, I saw a woman all 'decked out' in furs, dia- monds, and a very expensive looking hat. The hat was very big and after finding the face, which was half hidden under it, I found myself looking at Joyce Crosby. She recognized me immediately and came over and sat down. After she had heard about the class reunion and had ordered a S150 break- fast, she told me she had just been down visiting Johnny at his ranch to rest up after making a big picture. fShe had the leading roll in 'The Life Story of Joyce Crosby' which will be playing next week right here in Ca1iforniaJ When I had finished my coffee and toast and had said good-bye to Joyce, I went back to the hotel. Saturday came running out of the building and told me that we d1dn't have enough money to pay for the hotel. I jumped in my 'T-Birdn and headed for the nearest bank. There in the largest let- ters you have ever seen was written nPresident, Kenny Doughertyn. Of course, I went right in and cashed a check. I talked to Kenny for awhile. He said he'd be at the re- union and if I needed any money to let him know. He also told me that Ron Crawford was President of the Washington State Ferries, and that Dale Rishel owned Standard Oil Com- PBDJ. They both lived on the Island. From the bank I went to the telegraph office to send them a telegram. At the telegraph office I encountered Dale DeVr1es. He was all dressed up and so I asked him if he was going to a wedding or something. To my surprise he said, Yes'. He explained that he was writing a book on marriage and this was the tenth time he had married. I wished him luck and after looking at my watch remembered I had to pick up Sat- urday and find the last name on the list. I was already ten minutes late so I hopped in my WT-Birdn and took off for the hotel. I heard a loud noise about two blocks from the hotel and when I looked up I saw a police air plane giving me the signal to pull over and stop. I pulled to a stop and a man put a rope ladder out of the side of the plane and came down. I sat in my car with my head down while the policeman told me how 'awful' it was to go 100 miles an hour in a 95 mile speed zone. He said he'd have to give me a ticket. I looked up to take it and almost fainted. There standing in a police uniform, ticket in hand, was the last man on my list, Denny Martel. I informed Denny about the reunion. He gave me the ticket, Cwhich cost me 327.503 and soon I was on my way again. I had found them all and now I could go home and get a good night's sleep. A week from now I'd see them all at the reunion of the GREAT CLASS OF '59'.
