we dined dinner was of ed throughout ections. we in the luxurious dining room of the main lodge. Our turkey with all the trimmings. Organ music was play- the meal and a singing waiter sang two or three sel- enjoyed our dinner very much even Etta Mae, who thought her salad was made of dandelion greens! Next we went over to the large dance halle The girls simply loved the music when they heard it and then when they saw who was making it, there was no doubt as to whyi There were seven very young musicians who re- ally knew how to playc About half way through the dance they play- ed the Mexican Hat Dance which Terry and Leis as well as Bill and Barbara performed in really fine sytlew The last dance of the evening was dedicated tc the Class of YS3 from Friday Harbor and it was WHarbor Lighten which really ended the dance in a wonderful WaYc Everyone went back to the cabins and Jack started fryingcmgs so we could have an egg sandwich. we changed into old clothesand BOMB of the Wkidsu went frog hunting while the others just stayed in the cabinse Nearly everyone found his bed either short sheeted, minus sheets or full of cornflakesg Everyune finally got to sleep about 5:30 Ao Mc, just to get up about three hours later! Sunday morning the last day 'of our trip had arrived. It started off with a bang when the boys cooked breakfast! we think they'really learned something in the cooking classn because the breakfast was very edible and good tool After breakfast everyone gathered up his belongings and pack- ed his suitcase fer the homeward journey. when the cabins were partially straightened we went out and some pitched horse- shoes and others played golf. About noon we left Lake Wilderness for the last time--and went into Renton to see a shows At four we left Renton and started for home, we returned by way of Seattle with everyone sleeping most of the way' We stopped in Mount Vernon to eat our dinner and then continued on toward Anacortes. we finally get on the ferry and were beginning to dread the thought of going to school the next morning, when Mr. Brubacher announced that we didnlt have to come until noon. How understand- ing can our elders be? There were really many sleepy seniors on the ferry that night who were very glad to see the welcome lights of .FQ Hu appear around that last little corners
