,Senior Trip to Vancouver! Friday, Wav lf, nt 6 o'clock in the morninQ a sleepy senior :lass gathered on the dock with suitcases, tennisfrcckets, camerass und numerous other items. To start the trip off right, Don missed :he ferry which caused quite a bit of excitement. After makinq two nhone calls in Anacortes, we finally located him in Mt. Vernon where Le was nonchalantly waiting at the bus depot minus five dollars. The 'PiD to Vancouver was spent in sin5in5 every sonQ we knew and eating the delicious candy which Mrs. hall made. We ate our lunch in New 'estminister at 1:15 ant then went on to Vancouver to our hotel. At 'irst sight we thoight it was just being built but discovered the otby was being remodeled. The bell boy took our suitcases up to our looms, which were conveniently arranged boys on 6th floor, girls on th floor, and chaperones on ith floors.'Theiremsinderrofftheeaffera oon was spent in shopping. Marilyn B., Gwen, and Nancy, according o tradition lost their way but finally made it back to die hotel. We ate dinner in the skyroom at Clancy's. Twelve were gathered round a table meant for six there fore thinys were pretty well crow- ed. After dinner, because of aching feet, we decided to take a tro- ley instead of walking to the hotel, and after ridin5 a fem blocks, ound to our astonishment that we were on a trolley headed out of own. That night we went to the National Sports Show, at Exhibition ark, where we saw everything from high diving to a wrestle between an and alligator. After the Sports Show everyone indulged in a ight snack, before supposedly going to bed. The big occasion came Saturday nicht when we all went to the SJ cyroom of the Vancouver Hotel for dining and dancing. Along with a xkkd Ham dinner we had a tonderful orchestra uith a pretty singer, 1o all the bays approved of. Everyone being pretty WGl1-WDPHQQutZW8 :nt back to the hotel, where we retired for the ni5ht???? Sunday morning found us up by 8:00 and in an awful sleepy cond- zion. After packing checkin5 out of the hotel, we ate breakfast and zarted, for a tour of Stanley Park. With much difficulty in finding 1e main highway we were finally on our way back home. Finding we nd some extra time, we stopped in Bellingham, where many of is went w a movie to catch up on oir sleep. At 5:30 we once again boarded Lo bus for home. It seemed that everyone was happy to arrive in ,od old F. H., for they left the ferry singing.
