Silent Rain The day is over now and we ' re going our own ways. We ' ve been side by side all this time but we ' ve only really touched once or maybe twice. Do you remember the time we wrote poems about shoes and watched the silent rain fall outside the window? It was a good time, but the day ' s over now and it ' s time to move on to something new. Today is already a memory that I ' ve stored away in my mind. Someday I ' ll think about the silent rains and when I do I ' ll see that today is not an end— but the beginning of tomorrow.
