This year Miss Howard guided junior and senior high girls in learning the arts of home economics. The seventh and eighth grade girls followed the required one-half year course of general homemaking. Girls of other grades who took any of the four elective courses specialized in such fields as child care and home nursing, clothing and fabrics, housing and interior decoration, and getting along with others. The courses of the homemaking department have helped to establish a firm basis for future homes and families.
