BOARD CDF DIRECTORS EQUAL representation and voting power on the Board of Directors give the student body as much authority over the expenditures of Association finances as the administration. The student president, vice-president, and men's and women's legislative commissioners, together with Dr. Thomas, the college president, and three faculty members appointed by him, control and manage finances collected from various activities. Association dues and admission prices to all games and entertainments are fixed by the board. The board also has control of all appropriations for publications and athletics and it fixes the budgets of all student activities. The college union and the cafeteria come under the control of the board as well as the general manager and other employees of the Association. Duties and salaries are decided by the directors. Enforcing the constitution and by-laws, granting awards, and apportioning money for the loan fund are further jobs assigned to the board. A three-fourths majority vote is needed to pass any measure. Ratcliffe signs the checks. . . This keeps 'em from bouncing.
