The office of the dean of men handles all housing, financial, delinquency, and curricular problems which face the men students at Fresno State. Dr. Mitchell P. Briggs, dean of men, is the counselor of all the men students in the college, and it is through his hands that all arrangements for male social and scholastic affairs are made. Women students find Room l l4 a helpful place to go when they are con- fronted by problems, because Miss Mary C. Baker, dean of women, whose office is there, is always ready to offer aid where it is needed. Miss Baker helps the women stu- dents plan their courses, finds suitable housing for them, and sponsors the women's affairs on the campus.
