MAIN TEN N CE Keeping the Fresno High School campus clean and beautitul, and preparing the noon day meals are the main iobs of the maintenance department. Be- sides preparing the food tor all banquets at Fresno High, they also keep the teachers well supplied with necessary items. The custodians and cooks, headed by Mr. Cecil White and Mrs. Edna Rocha, should be commended for the great iobs they perform tor the student body.

PHYSICAL EDUCATIO The physical education department of Fresno High gives the stu- dents a break from their regular subjects to strengthen their bodies and practice their skills. The boys' department takes part in such vigorous sports as toot- ball, basketball, soccer, or track. The girls participate in many sports besides dancing, tumbling, and bowling. The physical education department plays a vital role in teaching OI'iHhh,1his modern dance is killing me!! the students to appreciate the outdoors and to practice good sportsmanship. MR.
