PERSONNEL The busiest people at Fresno High are the members of the per- sonnel department. The administrative secretary, Mrs. Masini, works competently to see that all the business in the main office is functioning properly. The registrar, Mrs. Orndoff, registers all new students who enroll in Fresno High. She also records all ofthe grades. Mr. Rossi, the financial secretary, is in charge of the financial matters of the school. She also takes care of club dues, money from fund raising activities, and other financial responsibility. Mrs. Bibler and Mrs. Russell, have the job of recording the absences everyday. The counselors' secretaries, Mrs. Hammat and Mrs. Pearson, handle much ofthe paper work of the counselors. Mrs. Wheeler, the nurse, has the responsibility of keeping the school on a high level of health and sanitation. These counselors, with the other administrators, strive for the welfare ofthe student body.

During his first two years, a student is required to take an English class ot grammar and literature to prepare him tor the junior grammar and composition tests. lt a student passes these tests, he may have his choice among English literature, contemporary lit- erature, advanced composition, drama, or public speaking. For students who tail these iunior tests, or for people who desire to take it, a senior composi- tion course is presented. These English classes open the door of success in every Held. What is that?
