'E' DEBATE EDUCATE I TERESTED STUDE TS DEBATE For the advancement ot knowledge in speech which includes debate, dramatic, humorous, original oration, oratorical interpretation, impromptu, and extemper- aneous speeches, the Debate Club was organized. The members participate in the National Forensics League. This year the club attended tournamentslall over the San Joaquin Valley, Stanford and San Francisco State. K 129 Q!! PHOTO CLUB Established in 1955, Photo Club has given the students an opportunity to broaden their knowl- edge of photography and to display their work. Club funds were increased by taking pictures at the Prom and at the Senate Formal. Also, popu- lar movies were shown in the drama room to provide funds for our spring trip to Los Angeles. This year's club members traveled to Sequoia- Mf-EfiC Mitchell Kings Canyon Park, Yosemite Park, and Los Sponsor Angeles, where members visited the Warner Bros. and Walt.Disney Studios. BIOS Mr. Garland Johnson Sponsor ln order to promote an interest in the life sciences, the Bios Club was formed in l956. lt provides oppor- tunities for the advancement in the knowledge in the Held ot biology. Since this club was organized, many trips have been taken. One trip which has been taken every year is that to Pacihc Grove for the collection and observation ot ma- rine life.
