JEANNE TUSCHHOEE, JEAN CLEMENS, Miss FERNE FARVER, DEAN OF GIRLS. DEANS MESSAGE Fresno is a city of the Golden West which has become famous for its gracious hos- pitality, charming informality and glamour of outdoor life. The girls of Fresno High School have been glowing examples of these factors in their many splendid contribu- tions to the community. VVhether it has been time, talent or backstage work requested, the response has always been most gratifying and the achievements most satisfying. Perhaps the Red Cross needed posters or place cards, and the girls in the art classes responded. The service committees of the different girls' organizations most gener- ously answered the call of the community need for volunteers to staff the outdoor booths for the hlarch of Dimes and for the Crippled Children. lVIany, indeed, have? been the requests for the girls with musical and dramatic talents to donate their time and talent for benefit performances as well as for community en- joyment in the club, fraternal and city organizations. FERNE D. FARVER
