1:1--in THE PLUTOCRAFT n-----in Class Songs By Eleanor Mavity and Louise Kearby The Class of '32 Words by Nina A. Hazel 1Tune: Sweetheart of Sigmi Chij The Senior Class of French Lick High Will always be true blue. They'll do their best and they'll pass the test As the Class of '32. They'll fight for rank and they'll get it, too Before their work is done. When they graduate may they truly say That the fight was fought and won. Senior Loyalty Song iTune: Washington and Lee Swing! Four years of struggle, toil, then victory. Four years of laughter, joy. We're glad to be The members of this class of thirty-two. For her we'll light right on, we'll ever be true blue. To her we promise all fidelity, And to her blue and white pledge our loyalty. We'll wave our banners high-all foes defy. Here's to the Seniors of French Lick High. El Seniors' Farewell Song CTune: Poor Butterfly! And now our school days are almost over, But we will cherish them evermore. The weeks will pass into months, The months will pass into years, And as we smile through our tears We'll think of days of yore. We'll see the scenes that were once so familiar. We'll see the scenes that are still so dear And whatever we are, and whatever good we may do, We'll owe it all, dear old High, to you. The Parting Class Song The sad hour of parting is now drawing nigh, Soon we to each other must murmur good-bye, The sweet songs of gladness and gentle refrain, ln these halls of music may we hear again. Now while our glad voices are blended in song, We question if ever this bright, happy throng, Shall meet on life's border, for the fu- ture's our own, Or will we be vanquished and never more known. Now from our dear teachers, and class- mates so true, We part with a lingering and tender adieug And go forth to mingle in life's busy fray, With hope that our success may gladden the way.
