El--l--1-III THE PLUTOCRAFT all-lu Our dark haired cartoonist Is none but Herbert B. His Valentine drawings We wish you all could see. John Paul, the tallest boy ls never impolite But never lets his Edith Get far out of his sight. Deloris Drabing, too, is there And written in the book. She has a smiling, friendly way And a very cheerful look. There's Walter Perry Evans Who's sad as you can bet When he misses the right note On his crooning old cornet. Audra Flick, our president Leads us in our flight. She's the pilot of our ship And she fights with all her might. Katherine Flick is sweet and plump She knows her English to a tee. And in other studies is mighty quick And liked by you and me. Paul Flick, another Senior ls never very rude But takes a girl out riding Whom we all call Gertrude Nina Hazel, a brunette miss With eyes of smiling blue Is our school pianist And another real pal, too. Holbert Hendrix, another fellow Is too, one of our gangg When the teachers assign lessons He is off with a bang. Iva Hendrix in bookkeeping class They say is quite a student But in spite of all this praise Iva will still be prudent. ' El Kathryn Holiday is the name She has a very pleasant smile. Now listen to what we say She's full of pep all the while. Lois Kaiser admires Lloyd Ash But we're not supposed to tell. lt's also visa versag As you all know quite well. Our stately Louise Kearby ls a dignified Senior girl, Who combs and combs with all her might But can't make her hair uncurl. Beatrice Cox is still with us Though we feared we'd lose her often Every time she sees her friend We're afraid her heart will soften. Carrie Denny is a Senior Who never makes much noise, But quietly calculates How to lead the girls and boys Lillian Lashbrook, our petite miss ls the smallest in the class Unless she flirts too much lt's sure that she will pass. Glenn Leonard's the red-haired boy Who certainly knows his French He plays on the basketball team And seldom sits on the bench. One boy by being absent On test day, has won fame. He's well known 'by all of you Paul Leonard is his name. Charles Moery as a rule Never runs around with boys. ln school, the quietest lad, Seldom makes a bit of noise. Next on the list is Ed McCarty Our second team's tall center. He easily dodges the green carpet With Messick as his mentor. Our tenor, Harold McDonald, Is said to be so handsomeg But why should he care- Nita Wilson asks no ransom. We then come to McFarland As Gertie , she is hailedg For one of our many t'Flicks We fear her heart has failed. A dark eyed quiet miss ls none but Pauline Mills She doesn't flirt with the boys Nor wear any silly frills. The next on the list is Putnam g Glenn we call him here- A shiek in small boys' clothing But full of pep and cheer. Anna Lois is our secretary A sweet and winsome lassg Who has been a willing helper And a friend to all her class. Margie Thacker, an old school mate, Never in her life has stayed out lateg She's a funny girl says Mr. Fate Can't figure why she will not date. Though he is always quiet He does not lack appealg And when Mert works seriously His efforts turn out real. There's a boy with flashing teeth And a quiet winning wayg t'Who'I we ask of all the girls. Sid Sturm, is what they say. Esther Stemply has curly hair And also has a chumg They're always seen together No matter what may come. Dorothy Stultz with blond hair And eyes of pale, pale blue, Has lured many farmer boys, Do not let her lure you. The honorable Miss Wagoner ls our editor-in-chief, Who's worked hard on this paper And checked it leaf by leaf. We fear that Mary Woolums Was lured by Oakland City's charms But she will return to graduate With her friends of town and farm Mae Williams with the big blue eyes And a very pretty smile Prepares her lessons willingly And does the things worth while. Paule Wininger, our yell leader, With worries now is laden For his petite blonde belle Has moved from dear West Baden.
