Catchers were L. Berrenecnee and Pinky Cooter. Ccoter ned the highest betting average, with Perez and Murie follow- ing. The whole Fremont team did very well despite their lack of experience. U ui no Ui There have been seven track meets this year, in which Fremont was undefeated. The whack meets weep held as follows: ' 2 The first mee? tes an inter-class meet where gf? classes competed against one another. Fifth period won. Claremont was the place of the second track meet. Claremont, Webb, and Pomona took part. Pomona won 83-12. The third meet was at Pomona High School where the Sophs and Fremont competed. Fremont won 57-52. The fourth meet was also held at the high school.Ghino Claremont and Pomona took part. Pomona was second. At Qonita the fifth meet was held. Eight' schools were represented. Pomona was again second.CThis was the meet Wendell Dyke will never forget??J The sixth meet was the biggest one of the year, with twenty-three schools took part. Pomona was ninth. The seventh was a C.B.L. track meet with eight schools taking part. Pomona was third.
