K Q The first string. won but three out of eleven games played, ,while the second string won eight out of nine. Our only equal opponent was Emerson. The first string lost the first game 33-15, but came back in the second to win by a score of 28-22. The second string won both of its SElII16S,ll-9 and 9-8, to give Fremont the series by 3 to l. - High point man on the first string was Don Colburn, with Stan Simpson and Ken Carpenter right behind bin. Catchers were L. Berrenecnee and Pinky Cooter. Ccoter ned the highest betting average, with Perez and Murie follow- ing. The whole Fremont team did very well despite their lack of experience.
