Tumbling Show Awes Audience Girls salute at end of march. On May 13, 1969, the Fremont High School student body was the first to view the talents of the members of the newly formed Tumbling Club. The club was headed by Mrs. Donna Babinski. It consisted of girls talented in the field of gymnastics. After weeks of frantic practicing, the big day finally came. Excitement rose in the souls of the girls as they dressed in their black suits and leotards and prepared for the show. They performed exercises, a flag routine, double stunts, and routines on the balance beam and uneven bars. 20
