This is the school that is more than builzlings, and books, and people, more than just a place where we stud y and work with words and numbers. This is Fremont. This is the sonnzl of happy voices in her halls. . . and the sound of silences we learnerl to hear. This is the esprit de corps that cheereil our teams in rlefeat as well as in victory. This is the jalopy rifle at -noon. . . the lunch sacrificed for a few precious minutes of extra gabbing .... the swell sozlas over at Ioe's. This is the sleepy buzz that comes from the cottages on warm September :lays .... the rain that marie the football game ezfen more exciting. This is We will :lo right for right's sake, anrl Hail we our Green anzl Gold. This is the Christmas carols, echoing and re-echoing through the halls their message of ultimate peace .... the teachers, transposing ns from the teenagers of torlay into the makers of tomorrow. Corning to Fremont three long years ago we anarveleil at the beauty of her campus, leaving we marvel at yet another beauty that is hers, a more lasting anrl significant beauty, the bearuty that is the spirit of this, our school. . And as we come to the emi of this chapter in our lives entitled Fremont, we pause to consider what it has given ns. We recall the lessons written upon its pages, we realize they are the foundation for the even greater lessons aheazl. But also we remember the things that were not written upon its pages, the things that without worfls were nerfertheless rearl, -reail not by our eyes, but by our hearts ....
