Club members rebuild sports car Mr: Kelsay helps senior Paul Leidig repair an engine's electrical system. Students who had troubles with their cars could bring them to the club and have the work done for only a minimum cost. Gentlemen, start your engines! Although the Auto Club of Fremont High is a far cry from the mechanical ex- cellence of the Indianapolis SOO, its members boast a genuine interest. The club aided boys who may someday attain such excellence. Under the sponsorship of Mr. Daniel Kelsay, the second year club consisted of I4 members. A major activity of the group was rebuilding an Austin American for its eventual sale. We were also fortunate enough to receive a new truck for our use, explained the sponsor. On Wednesday nights Mr. Kelsay opened the auto shop at the school and the club members viewed films on racing and repaired broken autos. Some of the members attended the auto races at Cornhusker Speedway.
