They played 15 ball games. The squad had 50 members at the start of the season, but it was cut to 22 towards the end. It included 12 freshmen, 8 sophomores, 1 junior, and 1 senior. Also this year was the first year for a junior varsity team. It included the last eight boys of the first 16. They played 11 games. XY'illy 'l'i'ospei', 'Vrumiin Friday. Ken Carey. The Tigers opened the season with but four returning lettermen: Hugh Friday, jim Ridgeway, Paul Fossey, and Dave Hamilton. Lack of experience has been our biggest trouble, howeverg our younger boys, up from last year's B Squad, have been improving with every game, Our seasons record as of February 9th was 12 wins-45 losses. Our con- ference record Qtied for Srdj was 8 wins-4 losses. We have won several close games on the teams terrific desire and hustle. Including February 9thls game-Hugh Friday with 342 points was our leading scorer and was also our leading rebounder with 126. jim Ridgeway was second high scorer with 192 points and also was second in rebounds with 80.
