MAN SQUAD FOOTBALL First row, left to right: Sam Snyder, Willie Fossey, Paul Fossey, Dick Kail, Lnrry Chambers, jim Ridgeway, Paul Smith, Bill Hines, Dave Hamilton, G. T. Connell. Second row: Mr. Butchko. Warren Spriggs, Orlando Armajo, jack Hubbard, Ben Connell, john Campbell, Bob Boedeker, Harry Reed, Ralph Yack, Stark Wilson, Charles Driskell. Mr. Zupan. Third row: Gary Lyon, jesse Roberts, Bob Morganstean, Richard Ferry, Tom Graham, Warren Snyder, Jack Corbett, Chuck Chingman. On August 15 we started our 1955 football campaign. We spent one week at our annual football camp. We had quite a bit of sickness while there. We finished the season with 48 players. Of those 24 earned a letter. Those 24 included 13 seniors, 6 juniors, 3 sophomores, and 2 freshmen. Our season's record was 2 wins-6 losses. We won the last 2 games of the season defeating Lovell in our Homecoming game 8 to 6 in an overtime period and beating Riverton 14-7. This year's co-captains were 'lim Ridgeway and Warren Spriggs. Our managers were Ken Carey and Richard Vensor. Coach Butchko assisted Coach Zupan during the season. First row: Butch Hudson, Marvin Rouse, Robert Klinger, Dick Scarlett, jack Stinbrech, Sam Browall, Earl Osborne, Dave Anesi, Bob Robertson. An undefeated, and untied B Squad which was mostly made up of Freshmen and Sophomores, gained valuable experience during the 1955-1956 season. They defeated Riverton twice and the Morton A Squad once. We expect to see some of these boys in the places of our graduating seniors.
