NHS Members Rank High In an Areas Of School Life National Honor Society is a nationwide organization which pays special tribute to those students who excel both academically and socially. Any junior or senior with a B average or better is eligible for this organization. Leader- ship, activities benefiting school and community and aca- demic achievement are considered during the selection pro- cess. Sponsored by Mr. Herseth and Mrs. Mueller, NHS par- ticipates in many activities including cultural field trips and offering assistance to the community as with the Swine Flu innoculations this year. Talented Orchesis Members Provide Fremd With Graceful Entertainment Orchesis is one of the most disciplined and most produc- tive activities at Fremd High School. Sponsored by Mrs. Emmer, membership is based on the dancing ability and choreographic skills of each girl who auditions for member- ship. The members of Orchesis contribute much to the enter- tainment schedule at Fremd. Drama Club Provides Yearlong The main purpose of this club is to develop an acting company where students will gain experience and knowl- l edge in all areas of the theater. Those students who are l interested in acting as well as those who are interested in the l technical aspects of stage production are encouraged to in- crease their skills through practical experience in play pro- duction.
