Bands Give Talented Fremd Musicmakers A Chance To Swing One of the largest and most important activities at Fremd High School is the instrumental music program which sees much participation by students. Mr. Robert Klassy and Mr. Richard Peterson take responsibility for this all-important part of student life. During the school day and on into late afternoon, music can be heard by anyone walking by the music wing. Instrumental groups at Fremd include Marching Band, Jazz Band, Pep Band, Symphonic Band and Wind Ensemble. This broad range gives many students the opportunity to participate at many different levels and styles. Annually, the District Orchestra is selected from among the talented mu- sicmakers districtwide, and Fremd claims more than its share of participants. jazz Band saxophone players swing out at a concert.
