STUDENT COUNCIL el Q T X Q Y 1 QPXSQ Y The Student Council of Freer High School is a member of the National Association of Student Councils and a member of the Texas State Association of Student Councils. Throughout the school year the Student Council promotes many activities and pro- jects. Some of these are to make signs and sell ribbons to promote school spirit, to see that pep rallies are held, to have charge of parades, to conduct the home- coming activities, to deliver Christmas cards, to sponsor the Christmas dance, to promote clubs, to sponsor the March of Dimes drive, to deliver valentines, to pro- mote good voting habits by holding school wide elections with secret ballots, to spon- sor the Coronation and the Coronation Ball, to encourage good study habits, to help students develop a sense of pride in them- selves and their school, to promote better student-teacher relations, and to do all other things that might make our school better in any way. These snapshots picture some of these activities. PEP RALLY
