LITERARY EVENT WINNERS . SHIR LEY JENSEN MRS HOLMES IVERRENE SENNE We we r e very pr oud of the showing which our literary contestants made at the District and Regional Meets this year. M r s . Holmes coached two Regional winners who went to the State Meet at Austin. Shirley Jensen won first pla c e at Regional in Typewriting with the best score of any class contestant. Mary Cook and J. Brooks Frazier were other typing contestants who won places at District. Iverrene Senne placed second in the Class A Short- hand contest and was thus elegible for the State Meet. B arbar a. Houston, a Freshman student, was district winner in the Ready Writers contest. Mr. Mays was her coach.
