NEW FACES AT FHS FACULTY FRESHMEN SHOW ENTHUSIASM “Welcome back, Adamowsky ” could be the phrase uttered by students of Freeport High's new Spanish - Italian teacher, Lori Adamowsky, for she too, like the Mr. Kotter of TV fame, is a product of the school where she now teaches. Her infectious enthusiasm is generally shared by the other new teachers. French teacher, Barbara Lawson, commented, “I like the organization and efficient management of school programs, activities, and the school in general.” In some cases special programs served as a lure for new teachers. “Freeport's Math Department has a great reputation and I wanted to be a part of it,'' said Judith Issacs. Marilyn Stuzin felt that the ESL Center, which provides help in English for foreign students in all subject areas, is one of the few of such caliber among local school districts.
