ADMINISTRATION AND GUIDANCE Mr. Irving Franklin Assistant Principal In spite of the additional problems resulting from a new building for Freeport's senior high school students, the administration and guidance departments have managed to carry on with their usual efficiency. Our Principal and Assistant Principal, Mr. Southard and Mr. Franklin respectively, have been the pillars of strength on which the student body has depended during this all-important first year. Through their work our high school life has become much more interesting and enjoyable. The guidance department has once again managed to guide us through a year filled with problems concerning college and vocations, as well as school life itself. This year, for the first time, vocational guidance was made available to all interested students. This was accomplished through the addition of Mr. Hamel as vocational guidance counselor. Thus, Miss Didas, Mr. Puff, and Mr. Miller were able to devote more time to college-bound students. We will always be indebted to these departments for having helped us with problems of deep concern.
