You have instilled in us, through your American History classes, the importance of international brotherhood in achieving peace in a troubled world. As a result of your instruction, we better realize the important role our country plays as a symbol of freedom and eternal hope, a democratic bulwork against the rising tide of conflicting ideologies. We will always remember your sincere and understanding ways and the manner in which you have kept our interests uppermost in your thoughts. We wish to say thanks for all that you have conveyed to us, both as a teacher and as a friend.
