Mr. Arthur B. Myers Mr. Arthur B. Myers, chairman of the Industrial Arts Department, plans to retire this June. After attending Oswego for four years and then doing graduate study at New York University, Mr. Myers came to Freeport High in 1921 to introduce manual training. Mr. Myers' instruction in such courses as Blueprint Reading and Typography has prepared many Freeport High School students for careers in architecture and engineering. Mr. Myers will always be remembered for the time and interest he has devoted to his students. Unique among this quality is the fact that he often remained in his room noontimes to volunteer additional help to his mechanical drawing classes. We wish to Mr. Myers, whose personal qualities have made him revered by faculty members and students alike, as much success as he has had in past years and a very happy retirement. 18
