H AM delighted to add a few words to the contents of this book. I have known many of the members of the Class of 1932. Since their transition from the grade schools to the Junior High school, I have watched their progress through both the Junior and the Senior High. Each year, when graduation time comes, we, who supervise the busi- ness and educational activities, note the passage of those who graduate and ofttimes wonder what we will do as outstanding leaders in school activities graduate. It is, however, the same here as everywhere. Others always rise up to take the place of those who leave us. It seems ordained that in every group there shall be those who can take the place of others who have gone before. And so it will be throughout the life of you who constitute the Class of 1932. You will have to take the place of leaders in business and in the professions and in your respective communities and it is my sincere and earnest hope that the training which you have received in the schools of Freeport, and in the Freeport High School particularly, will better fit you to assume these responsibilities and duties which, if properly undertaken, also become pleasures. I wish for you all the success and all the happiness of life and I sincerely trust that in all the worth while things and in all the things which shall be for your own good and the good of othersiwith whom you come in contact, you shall have nothing but the very best.
