A type of education that is often overlooked is the type which does not come from books, but instead it comes from the daily involvement with people. Working together with others provides valuable lessons in life. This year the Freeman High School students found time for fun while they were working away from their academic courses. The students found many causes for which they could apply their joint efforts. The school carnival was one example where nearly the entire student body was employed in either con- struction, publicity, operation or clean up. The Pep Poster Contest saw many groups of students, using their own materials, prep are giant posters with' which they lined the gym walls. The bonfire which followed the home- coming coronation ceremony was made possible by a group of students who after school went about the town collecting boxes and other burnables. The list of complet- ed projects by the F. H. S. students is virtually endless. BOTTOM: A group of junior a.nd senior high school students enjoy a social after a football game, BELOW: The seniors are seen working on their float with which they won first prize in beauty. ABOVE LEFT: Sophomores Marlene Haar and JoAnn Scham- ber play ping pong in the gym during some free time. ABOVE RIGHT: Gregg Graber and Margaret Stern join forces to complete a float on time.
