Seniors Present Diary of Anne Frank The Diary of Anne Frank , a two act play adapted by Frances Goodrich and Albert Hackett from the book ANNE FRANK: DIARY OF A YOUNG GIRL, was pre- sented by the senior class of Freeman High School on April 26 and 27. The two act drama concerns the true story of a thirteen year old jewish girl, her family, and one other jewish family as they hide from the Nazis in Amsterdam during World War Il. AT LEFT Anne, jackie Stahl, gives Mr. Dussel, Jarvis Heckenlaible, a pair of ear plugs for his Hanuk- kah present. He is shown having some trouble remov- ing them from his ear for they went inside. The directors, Donald Hoffman and Roslyn Pa.n.kratz, were students from Freeman junior College. They were presented with gift certificates from the class at inter- mission of the final night. 72
