Sandra and Rick Are Chosen to Reign Sandra Barta and Rick Preheim were crowned royalty Thursday evening, October 1, at the Freeman High School Coronation activities. They were crowned by Ted Hofer and Karon Uecker. Greg Kleinsasser, Master of Ceremonies, and David Schmidt, who played the pro- cessional, were chosen by the seniors. Margo Graber, accompanied by the Freeman High School band, sang the royalty song and Kelly Mutchelk- naus, student council representative, presented the girls with flowers. The program was activated with skits furnished by the high school classes and organizations. Introduction of the football team by Coach Don Diede was followed by a brief pep meeting led by the cheerleaders. A bonfire and snake dance with all the fired up fans concluded the evening's activities. Pictured above is the 1970 Royalty Court.
