Student addresses at commencement were given by, LEFT: Kim Wilde, Ted Hofer, john Hansen, George Villa, and Monte Kaufman. Students Speak at Commencement Graduation activities began May 19 with class night. The program included senior band, awards to outstanding indivi- duals in school activities, and presentation of the senior class's facts, poem, and will. Baccalaureate was held May 24 with Rev. Virgil Gerig delivering the sermon. The boys' chorus, girls' chorus, and mad- rigal sang. Terry Walter played the pro- cessional and recessional march. With a crowd of nearly one- thousand, 34 seniors and 57 eighth graders graduated May 25. jackie Stahl played the proces- sional march and the girls' ensemble and madrigal provided music. The class motto is: Take the world as you find it, but leave it better , The class flower is white mums and the colors are maroon, pink, and white. Graduating with high distinction was Tammi Graber and with highest distinction was Kim Wilde, who also received the Patricia I-Iofer Scholarship.
