FHA Newest Grganization at Freeman High FHA officers include, LEFT: Eileen Koer- ner--song leader, Carol Hanson--librarian julie Svartoien--historian, Linda Rechna- gel--reporter, Sandy Barta--secretary, Ardelle Kleinsasser--president, Marcy Kaufman--parliamentarian, Denise Men- del--treasurer, Marion Sayler--vice- president. A new organization at FHS is the Future Homemakers of America. The group of 30 girls attend monthly meetings held at the school and work on various projects and activities. This year the girls made Christmas favors for the Salem Home for time Aged, had a Christmas party, enjoyed a slumber party in the gym, and presented a spring style show. The FHA's biggest project was the spring style show, Signs of the Seventies, presented Sunday afternoon, May 17. The gym was decorated in black and White and carried out the theme with the use of zodiac signs. Fashions were styled by all Home Economics I, ll, and HI girls and some Fl-LA members. At LEFT: jan Rademacher, Nancy Kleinsasser, Lind Lang, and julle Svartoien model their dresses.
