BETTY MUDDER is in her eighth year at Free- man, teaching vocal and instrumental music and is the senior Class advisor. She has a B.M.Ed. degree from Yankton College. CHARLES CADY, a graduate of U. S.D. with a B. S. degree, teaches American and world history, govern- ment, and is the debate coach. This is his first year at FHS. New at FHS is JEAN THORELL, a graduate from S. S.C. with a B.S.Ed. degree. She teaches business courses and is advisor for school publications, and the freshman class. GEORGIA MCCARL, a graduate of S.D.S.U. with a B. S, degree, has taught two semesters at FHS. She teaches Home Economics I, Il, and Ill, psychology, and organized FHA. A graduate of S,D. S. U. with a B. S. degree, YVONNE HUBER, replacing Mrs. McCarl second semester, teaches Home Economics I, ll, Ill and is the FHA advisor. I . I LeETTA BENNETT, an Augustana graduate with a B. A. degree, teaches on a part-time basis at F. H. S. She gives instrumental les- sons, and is the director of boys' glee and B band. After practice teaching at FHS, TERRY GILLETTE remained to teach second semester. He is a graduate of D.W.U, with a B,A, degree. His classes include Eng- lish Il, 6th grade social studies, and elementary physical education. In her 25th year at Freeman High, CLARA PULLMAN is now serving as librarian, after previously tea- ching business courses. She has her B. S, degree from Huron College. Taking over as guidance counselor for the second semester is VIVIAN GERING. She is a graduate of Bet- hel College with a B.A. degree. Her service tries to help the student better know and understand him- self and find his goals.
