Bruce Dunker, Connie Cox, Missy ri Quinn, Holly Reis. JOURNALISM CLASS This year marked the return of the student news- paper. The “Falcon Focus” was advised by Mr. Thomas F. Cole. Editor-in-chief was Connie Cox. Page editors were: Mitch Hock and Jim Candey (Sports), Kelly Lincoln (Entertainment), Sheree Vasold (Front Page), and Connie Cox (Opinions, Features, and Community News). The “Focus” was a monthly paper that was distributed to the community, as well as the student body. Mr. Compton, principal, commented, “It was tremendous to have a student newspaper back in publication this year. The effort was well-received and the student and community response was su- per. We look forward to maintaining the quality publication that was initiated this year.” Mr. Cole expressed his views, “I was very pleased with the effort of the staff. It gave me a sense of responsibility and pride to be part of rein- stituting a much-needed program. 24 Sue McCallum takes a break from her deadline.
