This winter was one of the worst years remembered by Freeland students. With a total of ten school days nissed. The tempatures vareied going down to way below zero. And we all froze to death waiting for the bus wasn't that fun. United Nations (U.N.) club went to Grand Valley. U.N. is a mock United Nations meeting. Many different schools go each representing different countries. | At this meeting, lasting با‎ days, the E people part icipating learn what the real U.N. does. They learn how everything is ran and what each country has as har as power. This meeting is very rewarding for all involved.

Marching Band this year meant pep, spirit and a great time. The marching Felcons were directed by Mr. Shephard with irum Major Andy Purvis. They went to S.V.S.C. and C.M.U. for their band days. Both of these proved to be fun 3 and rewerding. Keep un the good work marching Falcons. Jazz band started last year, but this year is even better. They play Dop, jazz, and rock. They put on con- certs for anyone including high school open house, l-H clubs, ect... They have also been to see some professional bends so that they can get some ideas. It's an 211 around good groun.
