F.H.S. cruised through 1978 in full gear thanks to some great people who passed the millage this year. Freeland High was able to offer all the fun things which make a school more than a building. We screamed at pep assemblies, watched our band march with pride, were impressed with our own acting talents and rooted for our sports teams. Classes traded off the little brown Jug spirit award. Over all it was an enthusiastic year for all classes. We can be proud of our school spirit this year!

HOMECOMING IS FUN FOR EVERYONE Special activities during Homecoming Week were enjoyed by nearly all students at F.H.S. this year. The Powder Puff game saw the Seniors stopping the Juniors' second half rally, and eventually winning the game 190-12. Many people also participated in Hat Day. During ihe special assembly the day of the game, the Sophomores took ihe Little Brown Jug, but not without controversy, because the teach- ers did not play fair.
