It is an individual sport with team points. After school, practices and running through the halls took place. Winning and improvement were the results. Seniors, Tom Halm and Roger Clay, had a tremendous season. Next year's talent brings a good prospective team. Coach Pintek and coach Hollingsworth (a new coach this season) provided the team with great inspiration Bee to urge the wrestlers on to EJ victory. The organization that sent me to Freeland was Youth for Understanding. They couldn't have chosen a better place for me. Freeland is like my second home now. Freeland has given me a nice view of America and American life. This is a good chance to thank all Freelanders who have treated me so nice. Freeland High School with principal, superintendent, teachers and all the people who make it work so well, shows how a school is supposed to work and is a good example to other schools. It's such a good rela- tionship between teachers and students here. I come from the northern part of Sweden, a little town called Vil- helmma. The school I'm going to has about 600 students in the age of 16-20. I have still 2 years left before I can graduate. If you ever come over to Europe make sure that you come up to Sweden and you are always welcome to visit me. - МОМСА ELMQVIST I am a foreign exchange student from Holland (Netherlands). Thir- teen million people live in the Netherlands. Most Dutch people know some English. A lot of them live in apartments so there are still a lot of woods. I was surprised at the distance here between the towns. I like the winters here, and 1ї 15 okay for me ifit goes on with snowing. Snowmo- biling is something I had never done before. І like it, it is a lot of fun. I live in Soest, with my parents and one brother, a village of 40,000 people and is growing bigger because of the new industries. In Holland, everybody lives close enough to the school to come by bike, walk, or come by bromfeets. That is a bike with a light motor on it and goes about 35 miles an hour. You have to come over some time to my place. My address is: Hildebranloan 27 - Soest, Holland. - SONIA SCHWIEP 86 From left to right: К. Kamrath vice pres.; S. Young ргеѕ.; C. Marotzke sec.; К. This year's seniors are graduating, look- ing forward to college, but reminiscing about Freeland High. Juniors become sen- iors and everyone looks forward to advance- ment. Thoughts are kept of the usual things, but new and changing ideas always present а challenge. Every year, people change - styles, attitudes, and appearances. As the commercial goes, There's a new you coming every day. The Victorian Staff wishes the best to this year's graduates, We hope that we have accomplished our purpose and that everyone can recognize a little of this 1972-73 year at Freeland in the pages of this Victorian.
