Graduation On June 21, 1976 at St. John's Parish Center, one hundred and fifteen young men and women graduated from Freeland High School. Principal Michael Karboski opened the exer- cises by welcoming the graduates, their parents, admin- istrators, faculty, and friends. Then, Mr. Daniel C. Parrell, superintendent of schools, and Mr. Frederick Barletta, presidentof the school board, addressed the assembly. Student speakers were Joanne Chuckra, valadictorian, and Deborah Bogansky, salutatorian. Aided by Vice-Principal Adolph Peters, Mr. Victor Piazzi, Freeland's representitive to the school board, awarded diplomas to the class of 1976.
