Baseball Coached by Rich Cardoni and Tom Matisak. the F.H.S. Baseball Team established a record of 8 wins and 5 losses in the Hughie McGeehan Baseball League. Once again the Whippets played exciting baseball. They were in contention for the division championship until the last league game when they were defeated by West Hazleton. With more than half of the starting line being underclassmen, perhaps the old baseball cliche, wait till next year, will come true in 1977.
