These students and their advisor, Mrs. Betty Corcoran, actively worked with Saint Mary's Elemen- tary School, D.C.M. Elementary School, and the White Haven State School, where Susan Verbonitz was honored as an outstanding volunteer. 51

The Freeland High School Chorus, imder the direction of Mrs. Corrine Okrasinski, per- formed splendidly in two gala concerts this year, the Annual Christmas Concert and a Spring concert entitled I Hear America Singing. Various modes of vocal music ex- empliiied throughout these programs were American and intemational folk and religious songs, Broadway show times, rock opera hits, and modem rock numbers.
