Ecology Club What is the Freeland High School Ecology Club all about? It is more than two television films of its owng more than a feature story in American Youth magazineg more than a metal recycling pro- gram that is growing by almost three hundred percent a yearg more than commendations by the Environmental Protection Agency, the Ecology Council of America, and the Pennsylvania Depart- ment of Environmental Resourcesg more than one of the most advanced amateur photographic facili- ties in the areag it is more than the environmental field studies for Lulac and Syracuse University. It is more than sixty young men and women dedicated to the often unglamorous job of preserving a healthy environment. Under the direction of its advisor, Mr. Lutz, it is a way of getting things done, a way for its members to make a significant contribution to the twin causes of ecological protec- tion and environmental awareness.
