We gained llflarvin Wilkerson to our Cell block. During our first year we had Ernie Baysinger as ring leader. Mike Walters as co-ring leader, Linda Thompson as bookie and Glen Dyer as reporter. At the beginning of the second year we gained Frank Hutcherson and Linda Hart. With the exception of Bob Hahn as bookie. we had the same line-up of officers. We lost Frank during the year. We started the third year with the same line -up. only this time we were handling a lot of loot and Charlie Minnick was elected as banker to take care of it. We made money by playing poker? and selling cigarettes? for the 6 day parole which came up in the spring in New York and Washington D. C. This was the first freedom we had had in 3 years. and we really lived it up. This is the year we have been looking for, our 4th and last year. We began this year by electing Mike Walters as ring leader. Bob Hahn as co-ring leader. Charlie Minnick as bookie and Ernie Baysinger as banker. And finally in May of 1958 we get our diplomas and are officially released from prison. Although we have had our bad times we still have a few pleasant memories of F. II. S. We pause for a moment of reflective thinking. We are now aware of the fact that our high school days have been very enjoyable and very valuable for us. We recall many of our joys and our sorrows. our victories and our defeats. our hopes and our aspira- tions. We have realized some of our dreams while others lie at our feet in ashes. During our school days we have grown physically. mentally. morally. and spiritually. We have been trained and guided in the right direction by the school. the church. and the home. It is now up to us to carry the ball. We hope we do not fumble but if we do we will recover the ball and run toward the goal. We are grateful to our parents, our teachers. the school officials, and thc citi- zens of our community for their cooperation and kind assistance which has been so valuable to us and have made our graduation possible. We leave our best wishes, our kindest regards, and our good will to every mem- ber of Freedom High School. t'xyd Km X x M ,UWM ., n, 14, is f f 'X 'fi :S iii ,.....+-- m Cmgcm Q 5 img Com fwwfg, mfg.
