Willys Wyckoff FFA l 2,3,4 Basketball 1 Baseball l Class History Sept 1947, the senior class of '51 entered the Freedom Halls of Fame to make their marks in history freshmen we enrolled as a class of twenty s x this environment We will always remember our instructors, G A Criswell, Supt Mr Joe Holland, Miss Hazel Smith, Betty Ruth Anderson and Hugh Robinson That year Jeanne Gibson, a member of our class, was elected Aggie queen Bill Darr, Harold Wanger Marthan Brennon, Marlene Criswell and Darlene McAlister withdrew Our sophomore year, looked upon by most students very dull, proved to be just the opposite We captured a great per cent of the Queen honors this year with Carol McCammon as Annual Queen and Patsy Schroeder, Carnival Queen This year presented a whole new faculty with the exception of one, Mr L C Dearing, Supt , Mrs Mary Netta Walker, Mrs Betty Ruth Anderson and ouzf sponsor and principal, Mr John Thilstead Two of our students withdrew this year They were Marjorie Thompson and Bobby Robinson, but we gained two more, Lena Tannahill and Phillip Schultz Our junior year was very busily spent in preparing the Junior play giving the seniors a banquet, selecting our l in s,and oh yes we did have a little class work on c ass r g , , the sidelines Our vaculty was almost the same as before 1 l d with exception of Mr. George Rowley, our new princ pa an Mrs. Alice Miller, our new English teacher. Well, we're seniors at last. This year will stand our memory as a fast passing one.
