Graduates Ready to Enter World Commencement speaker Dr. Adron Doran, president emeritus of Morehead QKYJ State University, asked the 215 graduates one question: Are you ready? Doran assured graduates that the education they had received would stand them in good stead the rest of their lives, citing his own two years spent at the school. An alumnus and member of the Board of Trustees, Doran asked graduates if they were ready for three challenges: to do what is necessary to fulfull their dreams, to compete with their peers, and to go forth and sow the seed of the kingdom. The Faculty Scholarship- Leadership medal was pre- sented to Susan Poteet, a computer information systems major from Trenton, Tennes- see. lt is the highest honor the faculty can bestow. Two honorary doctor of laws degrees were presented in the May 7 ceremonies. Fie- cipients were William Arnold, an author and businessman from Anderson, Indiana, and Wilfred Davis Chrisner, a busi- nessman from Austin, Texas.
