On Saturday night he is Marissa bound For you should see what that boy found. Stanley Agne is our story teller The boys all say he's a regular feller. But if you ever believe his stories You'l1 end up living in morning glories. Donald Ketten is nicknamed Kat ' And you never see him wearing a hat. Our opponents rated him plenty tough And they were right--he had the stuff. Barney is Coach Mulkey's dream But why not--he's the captain of the team, He always ready to hold the fort Be it on diamond or basketball court u This Evelyn Lucash is an intelligent gal To Vera she is an inseparable pal, Except when beckoned by a soldier lad Then as the feller said-1t's just too bad. Betty Nast helped to type this book Her dark, brown eyes give ominous looks. But they soften quickly to a mellow glow when someone says to Belleville let's go. Vera Fisher ls a glamorous girl Who wishes her hair would have a natural curl. Her heart is promised to a boy named Red Maybe to him someday she'll be wed. Roger Zlpfel is real dependable boy As well as Jean Ann's pride and Joy. But when he gets that certain glint in his eye Look out folks--the fur might fly. Robert Mlddendorf thinks he's tough Beware when somebody calls his bluff But whoever that brave fellow may be We'll wait a very long time to see.
