Superintendent Herbert F. Wilson was the general director of the production. Mrs. Cora Ditto was his assistant. Miss Lela Adamson was in charge of the speaking parts. Music was furnished by both of the grade schools, Lincoln and Mound. The Lincoln Junior High and the Senior High also presented many beautiful musical numbers. Miss Anderson and Mr. Justice were in charge of the music. Mr. Charles Foiles was in charge of the lights. Mr. Grommer, Mr. Yetka, and Mr. Carroll aided in changing the scenery. With the aid of all these people this show was made possible. King Herod was portrayed by Richard Strykerg Dancers by Delores Barron, Lillian Porter, Lois Cook, Barbara Kensinger, Norma Glass, Lois Cummings, Pat Blanks, Mary Lou Wright. The scribe was by Oren Ly- grisseg the herald by Steven Rogers. Wise Men by Dean Pryor, Bill Foster, Chet Cummings. The king's atten- dants portrayed by Tom Florenz, Joe Dickens. The fourteenth annual Christmas pageant which consists of six realistic scenes was presented Thursday Eve-ning, December 18. This pageant which required 700 persons to produce the religious service. The first scene shows the Angel Gabriel informing Mary of jesus' birth to come. The second scene takes place at the Inn, with the Inn Keeper turning people away from the crowded Inn. The third scene is the shep- herds and the boy on the hillside receiving the good tidings. The fourth scene takes place in King Herod's court with the dancers, then the Wise Men bring the news of jesus' birth to King Herod. The fifth scene is the angel chorus with a background of clouds. The sixth scene takes place at the birth place of the Baby jesus in the stable, Mary was portrayed by Betty , Smith, joseph by Wayne Striegelg Angel Gabriel by Mary Lou Worden, Shepherds by Carl Victor, Don Carr, Dwight Ramsay, jim Glass, The Inn Keeper by Wesley Otto.
