Programs changed and we surely hate to see our classes disturbed that way. Jan. 16. Girls' Glee Club sing and make noises in chapel. Jan. 18. Elliott got back from Texas or some place. Jan, 21. Basketball season tickets on sale. Jan. 23. Donald Thompson got to Eco- nomics on time this morning. Chapel to- day. Start pep for Basketball. Jan, 25. Miss Crawford takes charge of English classes in place of Mrs. Shank- lan . Jan. 26. Fun has started in the English VIII, third hour class. Somebody hit Percy Thatch right behind the ear with an eracer. We win over Erie by a score of 26 to 3. Jan. 30. Chapel next week. We can't have it this week on account of fire drill yesterday. Feb. 1. We plaved Chanute and won on our home court. Score 29-16. Feb. 4. We have had seve'al of the English VIII students tal'e out life insur- ance against being killed with eracers, spikes. etc. Feb. 6. Chapel today but We were care- ful not to run over time. Feb. 7. New York Players. Iva Reiil' brought Gridiron, Feb. 8. life defeat Altamont 42 to 2. Close game. Feb 11. Donald Thompson arrived on time to Economics this morning. Feb. 15. The Fascinating Fanny Brown is presented by the Dramatics Class on the Lyceum Course. We win over Co'- feyville there. Feb, 18. We get beat at Frontenac. Feb. 19. Cooleela enters school and starts making eyes and winking at Grid- iron. Feb. 20. Chapel. Joe Stroud, if you can't keep quiet, you can leave this audi- torium. Feb. 22. We win over Independence and then go coasting. Feb. 25. We didn't come to school today so we haven't anything for the calendar. Feb. 26. Percy Thatch was caught picking his teeth with a big spike nail today and'was sent out of English. Feb. 29. Beal, Hibbard, Thompson, and Shelton walk to Oswego to see the team win. Mar, 3. Dramatics Class presents a play after school. March 7. Cherryvale comes up to get licked 21 to 14. Mar. 10. New Albany plays the second team. Oh yes, we win. Mar. 11. The Juniors are working hard to put on a play that will come up with the one last year. Mar. 12. Chapel. We have lots of pep because we play Neodesha Friday. Mar, 21. Yes, We won. The sco.e was 35-21. March 24. Say this isn't funny. We lost all 0' this year's bc-oks and found all of last year-'s books in the pile on the study hall floor. We like this bell system but our dear teachers don't. Mar. 25. We lose to Chanute. Mar. 28 We win over Longton. No' wonder, looked who re ereed. Mar. 31. Hobo Day. Mr. Elliott gets back fiom Pittsburg. His nose looks too red For him to have just been crying. Hollis Isham is elected Hobo President. April 1. Your shoe is untied. April fool, the jolcei s on you. BLACK A Oct. 24. Carnival started. Oct. 25. Nothing but Carnival commit- tee meetings. Oct. 26. We get out at noon to go to Independence. Lady Luck seems to be an especial friend of I. H. S. Freshman party at Leeches. Oct. 29. Say, we can't keep a calendar for this annual unless you kids do some- thing that we can print. Oct. 30. Y. W. C. A meeting after school. Oct. 31. Chapel in the mo-rning. Carni- val and Hallowefen at night. Every one is told to Go to Hell. No harmmeant. Just a side show. Nov, 1. Cars and cans are parked on the campus as a result of last night's pranks. Nov. 2. The Weather rained on us while We rained on Oswego to a 33-0 score. Nov. 5. My, all the Seniors are good looking. No wonder they are having their pictures taken. Nov. 6. Caught in the act. Mr. Elliott and a friend are seen shooting craps in the hall, bet a banana split that Mr. Elliott won. Nov. 7. No Chapel-everyone mixed up. 'Taint fair. Nov. 8. Declamation try outs. Seven Seniors and one Junior make it. Nov, 9. Chapel with the American Leg- ion in charge. Orchestra heard in chapel for first. time this year. We win from Eu- reka 25-6. Sophomores have a party at Nattier's. Nov. 12. Who said this was a legal holiday? Was the walkout successful? Ask someone who tried it. Nov. 13. We can't tell you anything about what happened at school today be- cause we got kicked out yesterday. Nov. 14. Everyone ba-ck in school today to hear Cleo give a pep talk and to vote on the Popular Girl Contest. Nov. 15. Thelma Shafer is still ahead in the contest. Naturally, she is a Senior. Nov. 16. We played Cherryvale. We brought home the bacon 10-7. Nov, 19. Good English Week is start- ed. Mr. Yost has more than his share of the tags. Nov. 20. Boyer and Forsyth change rooms. Nov, 21. The Junior Play is given. The prompter put on an excellent production. We lose to Cherryvale. April 14. Our Trophy case is enlarged by another cup. April 15. This book is going to press. April 16. We had Chapel today. We wonder what is wrong. April 17. The Operetta parts given out. April 18. Donald Thompson was on time again to Economics. April 22. Special Assembly. Senior play cast motor to Neodesha. No acci- dents reported. Oscar Lines elected track captain. April 23. Chapel again today. Mr. May 1. May Day. Myra and Lenore busy hanging out May baskets. May 2.
