Freshman party at Leeches. Oct. 29. Say, we can't keep a calendar for this annual unless you kids do some- thing that we can print. Oct. 30. Y. W. C. A meeting after school. Oct. 31. Cars and cans are parked on the campus as a result of last night's pranks. Nov. 2. The Weather rained on us while We rained on Oswego to a 33-0 score. Nov. 5. My, all the Seniors are good looking. Everyone is passing by the building, giving it the once over before they start getting their edumuncation, as Har- old Hall calls it. Sept. 3. Labor Day and everyone starts in laboring for a whole school year. It is a regular first day, the Freshmen are so green that they are being walked on instead of the grass. Sept. 4. Glee Club try outs for the boys. Billie Brockway tries out for alto. Sept. 5. Chapel. Annual sale is start- ed with the faculty giving talks and telling jokes. Webber does not talk or give joke, he does his bit by standing on the stage. Sept. 6. Yellow tags are the only pro- tection. Have you bought your annual yet? Sept. 7. The last of the Freshmen were caught and warmed today. Sept, 10. The Karo Klub met over the week end and sweetened the building with the stickiest syrup they could find. Sept. 11. Programs are changed again today, and again we hear that beautiful song, Is this Latin one. Sept, 12. Chapel, We show the Freshies how to yell. Football ticket sale started. Sept. 13. Our football tickets malte us look like we had been in the hands of the express company. Sept. 14. The Faculty and Seniors give a reception to the Freshmen. Glen Beal takes Lenore home. 'Shame on 'Ame,' he's got a girl. Sept. 17. Shank gets tackled instead of the dummy. Sept. 19. After chapel we are told to go to our third hour classes. Sept. 21. Girls try out for chorus-all teachers keep doors and transoms closed. Music in chapel by James Barrett, Walden Spencer, Raymond Shuler, and DeFever Swartz. Storky's band raises Mr. A. Pep from the dead, and Merwyn makes some lively ghost. Oct. 11. Can't tell the Senior girls from the Freshmen girls, all are wearing hair ribbons. Oct. 12. We have a football game on our Local Lake, score 0-0. Oct. 15. Rain, rain, rain. Notice to Freshmen. The pool developed in the cen- ter of the walk leading to the boys' entrance is no-t a swimming pool, nor is fishing al- lowed. Oct. 16. The joke is on Thelma and Mary Louise and they don't know why. Oct, 17. Pep chapel with all classes sending telegrams to our boys at Caney. We get licked, 6-0. Oct. 18-19. Teachers gone to the con- vention. No one is mad and there are sev- eral people pleased. Oct. 22. In checking up the teachers, we find that no one was run over by the street cars at the convention. Eddie Bair starts to school. Oct. 23. Miss Crawford takes charge of English classes in place of Mrs. Shank- lan . Jan. 26. Fun has started in the English VIII, third hour class. Somebody hit Percy Thatch right behind the ear with an eracer. We win over Erie by a score of 26 to 3. Jan. 30. Chapel next week. We can't have it this week on account of fire drill yesterday. Feb. 1. We plaved Chanute and won on our home court. Score 29-16. Feb. 4. The Fascinating Fanny Brown is presented by the Dramatics Class on the Lyceum Course. We win over Co'- feyville there. Feb, 18. We get beat at Frontenac. Feb. 19. Cooleela enters school and starts making eyes and winking at Grid- iron. Feb. 20. Chapel. Joe Stroud, if you can't keep quiet, you can leave this audi- torium. Feb. 22. We win over Independence and then go coasting. Feb. 25. We didn't come to school today so we haven't anything for the calendar. Feb. 26. Percy Thatch was caught picking his teeth with a big spike nail today and'was sent out of English. Feb. 29. Beal, Hibbard, Thompson, and Shelton walk to Oswego to see the team win. Mar, 3. The Juniors are working hard to put on a play that will come up with the one last year. Mar. 12. Chapel. We have lots of pep because we play Neodesha Friday. Mar, 21. Yes, We won.
